Emma Sheezel
Emma qualified as an occupational therapist in 2001 and began her professional career in Sydney where she worked with Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) as an Early Intervention Specialist.
Before having her own children, Emma spent time in the United Kingdom working in early intervention and schools as well as in clinical work as part of the NHS, working with children with physical disabilities.
Emma started her private practice in 2007 as well as continuing to work with Aspect to help young children and their families as part of the Helping Children with Autism Package.
She has also worked on contract for the Catholic Education Office as an Assistive Technology specialist, helping children with learning difficulties to best access the curriculum through technology.
Emma and her family moved to the Southern Highlands in 2013 to achieve a better work and life balance, to be closer to family, and to be a part of the wonderful schooling and natural environment of the Highlands. An ever-increasing client base lead Emma to open her private practice full time in Bowral in 2014.
